DESCRIPTION: The 4 sets of "L-shaped" burn holes in the Shroud, indicating the cloth was folded in quarters when the burns occurred. These burn holes predate the 1532 fire. The top layer is in the upper left corner, the 2nd layer in the upper right corner, the 3rd layer in the lower right corner, etc.
